The third feature of the evening would be a thrilling battle in the Turbo Blue Michigan Legends Series. Matt Todd would start on the pole of the 30-lap event, and would be dominate in the early going. But by lap 17 had his hands full with Multi-time Series Champion John Turnbull Jr. Turnbull would take over after a restart on lap 21, but 13 year old Grant Quinlan would soon become a thorn in Turnbull’s side. The two drivers beat and banged on each other, until a flat tire sidelined Turnbull. With Turnbull relegated to fighting his way back up through the field, Quinlan would find smooth sailing to victory lane. Matt Todd was second, Tony Monge third, Turnbull would recover to finish fourth and Sean MacPherson finished fifth. Heat wins went to Turnbull and MacPherson, while Turnbull set a new track record in qualifying with a 17.665.
