The Economy Print & Graphics/ Chet’s Auto Service Sportsman had 14 very capable drivers in their 25 lap feature event. Don Riley lead the early portion of the race through three cautions until lap #8 when the lights went out! A lengthy delay to get the lights back on allowed the cars to cool down and may have lead to some momentum changes. Chris Begg, the 2012 Sportsman Track Champion, took the lead when the racing resumed and cruised to his first win of the 2013 season. Brian Buswell finished 2nd, Jimmy Stratton finished 3rd, Rookie Blake Rowe finished 4th and Don Riley finished 5th. Vinnie Miller was fast qualifier; Don Riley and Jimmy Stratton were the heat race winners.
