6-7-14 On a perfect night for short track racing, the Economy Print & Graphics Sportsman division was the first to take the track for their 25 Lap Feature Event. There were 9 very good cars that made the racing very exciting. Newcomer, Nate Rowe, led the field to the green and it was just one lap later that veteran, Eric Olsen, took over the lead. Fast qualifier and new track record holder, Chris Begg, made an early charge from the back to gain several positions before hitting the front stretch wall on Lap #5. On lap #6, Kevin Cremonesi took over the lead and would hold it for the final 19 laps. Olsen kept hanging with the leaders and most of the battles were his as Blake Rowe, Cole Landau and Joe Jones battled for that second position. Olsen finally gave up the second spot on Lap #20 and the positions would stay that way for the final 5 laps. Cremonesi scored his first win of the 2014 season, Olsen would finish second after post race tech. Landau would finish fourth and Joe Jones finished fifth. Chris Begg set a new track record of 16.659, which bettered the record that he set on May 10, 2014 of 16.831! Rowe and Olsen won the Heats.
