 One of the two co-headlining divisions within the Weekly Local Racing Series at the Big "O", the ultra competitive Pro Late Models are on the schedule for 11 overall events in 2010 with 10 of those for the 2009 Pro Late Models Track Championship on the fast 3/8s (0.375) mile high-banked paved oval.
Hartland, Michigan veteran, Ed Young Jr., comes into the 2010 campaign as the two-time and defending track champion and his Template Bodied / Crate Motored Ford will have the proverbial target on his back as he looks to repeat as champion and score his third career title in the process. He'll have plenty of opposition in the form of fellow Template / Crate competitors as well as the predominant Outlaw Bodied / Built Motor machines. Add in some Template / Built and even a few Outlaw / Crate combos and this division will be one to watch all season long.
Here are the 11 scheduled events for the Pro Late Models in 2010;
May 1st, May 15th, May 29th, June 12th, July 10th, July 24th, August 7th, August 21st, September 4th, the 2010 Season Championships on September 11th, and the non-points 15th annual Owosso Fall Nationals on September 24-26th.
