 Another popular and successful division that graces the Big "O" every Saturday night is the always exciting black and blue divison, the Pure Stocks who'll be in action on 21 occassions during the 2010 racing season with 20 of those events counting towards the Weekly Local Racing Series 2010 Pure Stocks Track Championship.
Jimmy Stratton comes into the 2010 campaign as the defending track champion and the Lennon, Michigan driver will look to repeat as champion, but will have stern tests throughout the year from a wide variety of drivers with various levels of experience. It's always on the edge of your seat action when the Pure Stocks take to the fast 3/8s (0.375) mile high-banked paved oval.
Here are the 21 scheduled events for the Pure Stocks in 2010;
May 1st, May 8th, May 15th, May 22nd, May 29th, June 5th, June 12th, June 19th, June 26th, July 3rd, July 17th, July 24th, July 31st, August 7th, August 14th, August 21st, August 28th, September 4th, the 2010 Season Championships on September 11th, and the non-points 15th annual Owosso Fall Nationals on September 24-26th.
