Zach Kelley Named Chief Scorer for Owosso Speedway 2023!
Ovid Mi- Owosso Speedway management is proud to announce that Zach Kelley will be lead scorer at Owosso Speedway in 2023! Zach will be in charge of all timing and scoring. He will be overseeing operation of the Westhold Timing and Scoring System. Owosso Speedway has purchased 175 new Westhold Transponders for 2023. Every car will be accurately scored and reported online in the MyRacePass system, and using our Westhold System as well. Zach will ensure the lineups and race orders are correct.
"I've had the pleasure of working with Zach for several years at Owosso and Dixie in our tower over a decade ago and recently for me as a pit steward at Birch Run. . He is a very gifted line scorer, one of the best I've ever seen in action. He was one of the first calls I made in the fall of 2022 when beginning to assemble this team. He does very well in the pressure of getting a big show done in a timely fashion for our fans. We understand each others philosophy in many of the areas that are important for professionalism and a fair for all competitors process. I was very pleased when he said he'd be glad to be on our team at Owosso." Remarked Owosso General Manger Jeff Parish. "We're fortunate to have Zach's talents as part of the officiating team of professionals we are assembling for Owosso. We'll be introducing the rest of our officiating staff over the next several days. We know fans will be pleased with what they see in our team."
