Michigan Kenworth Owosso 500 Series to become Owosso Speedway sanctioned in 2025
After two highly successful seasons in which 84 different drivers have filed an entry to compete at the historic Owosso Speedway for Outlaw Super Late Models, Owosso Speedway officials have announced they will be taking the five-race series under their own management, separating from the Reveal the Hammer Series.
“We want to thank The Hammer Series team, Rich, Donny, Jeff and their crew for the last two years” We look forward to putting on the best Outlaw Super Late Model races possible at Owosso,” said Track Owners Rex and Sarah Wheeler. “We also want to thank Michigan Kenworth for being a key partner in the success of these events.”
Schedule-wise the series will look very similar in 2025 with another slate of 5 events paying a minimum of $10,000 to win, points series with points fund paying out at our fall 2025 end of season banquet. Further details will be released in the months to come, along with our 2025 schedule expected to be released at the 2024 Owosso Speedway Awards Banquet on November 9th at Soaring Eagle Casino. We are hopeful Outlaw drivers and teams will join us at our 2024 banquet for a round table event earlier in the day to discuss 2025 details.
